  1. I say good for her. I know alot of people seem to think that it is so much easier to send a email or post a comment on Facebook or Twitter, but that is actually part of the down side. The whole point is showing that you care enough about the person you are mailing a letter to that you would go out and search/buy a card that says how you feel and mail it to them instead of just pushing a button. Sending cards during the holidays is how you show the people you care about that you do care about them. You can’t display christmas emails around the fire place and saying I got a great Valentine’s email from my spouse doesn’t sound as intimate as saying my spouse got me a great Valentine’s Day card. And can anyone really say that they felt honored to receive a email wedding invitation or birthday/anniversary invitation. A letter is much more personal and physical to help you hold on to those happy memories thought your life and you don’t really plan on showing your kids the email that their grandma sent you for your birthdays and graduation.
