Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont has been a champion for the employees of the Postal Service and has spent a considerable amount of time and energy trying to get consensus to develop solutions for the Postal Service’s financial condition.

Below is recent correspondence from the Postal Service’s Inspector General, David C. Williams that provided Senator Sanders with valuable information relative to just how the Postal Service is funded with respect to pre-funding future retiree’s health care and retirement funding.

We are developing information that will be placed on the NAPS Legislative Center that will focus on the findings of the USPS Inspector General.
