It’s hard work, but Courtney Ferguson says she loves her job with the post office.
She’s been at a facility in Schiller Park for four years now.
“The post office is a great job to have,” she told NBC 5 Monday. What Ferguson said she didn’t expect in her job? Sexual harassment.
“It is never ending,” she said.
Fed up, Ferguson contacted the Equal Employment Commission and filed a complaint detailing the alleged harassment. That was followed by mediation, she said.

File EEO’s, sent letters to Congress person, senators, nothing they all turn their backs on you to protect the USPS. Trying getting in touch with the union they don’t care or understand look at the union in our office maintenance don’t have any representation due to no one wants to be a steward cause don’t have the backing of our officers. You promote people you like,friends, and or sleep with and then they think they can do as they please so if they don’t like you the suspend you for whatever they want. I think it’s about time we all stand up to the USPS and APWU.

I’m hearing a lot of frustration here. Best thing you folks can do, is get some FMLA, usebit, and relax. When you are at work, just insult your stupidvisor in front of others, and let them know that you don’t give a damn if the mail gets out or not. Nothing is going to change, just make it easy on yourself, f…k them. 👍🏽😃

the Postal Circus makes the church look like pikers in the sexual harassment area…….at our plant the indian supervisor would stare for hours at women’s breasts…..what did they do to get him out of the automation room……made him A/MDO. his nickname in the plant is “the Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood! (ain’t diversity grand)
We had a sup. transferred to another station that has a history of sex harassment complaints. Like a priest, he just gets transferred around. What is needed is a class action suit to force management to fire these people. This guy is just the tip of the iceberg

Try being removed from your PM Job during medical sick leave for kidney disease by the NEW MPOO accusing you of falsifying your time card after submitting weekly 3971 to acting MPOO who wasnt qualified for the job did not in put any of my leave request slips. Now i hear im being removed for not attending I&I while under doctors car. The garbage the USPS hires as MNGMENT needs an overhaul. 2 OIG FILES, CONGRESSIONAL AND NOW NO ONE WILL CONTACT ME other than MPOO telling me if i step foot on Postal Property it wont end well for me! Everyone needs to let congress know what really goes on in the USPS prison. Oh and after screwing with my time with no 1260 authorization they cut out paying me 7 months ago and im being billed by the USPS 3000.00. LIEING THIEVES. SEEN IT FOR 30+ YEARS. IT HAS TO STOP.

That sounds right. The only thing you get fired over in my plant is stealing. Other than that, all these zero tolerance activities are excused. People who fight are put out for a while then brought back THEN PAID FOR THEIR MISSED TIME. union is our necessary evil smh
My former office received a new supervisor without notice. Turns out he was transferred to us because he had harassed an employee. I guess the terms of his agreement was if he was ‘clean’ for two years he could go back, because two years later he went back. Sorry state of circumstances in the USPS
And he could go back to harassing employees and will be promoted because that’s how USPS management rolls.Screw up to move up is the management mantra.
