Postal Worker accused of hitting co-worker with pallet full of parcels

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS – A 48-year-old employee of the U.S. Postal Service was charged with battery after ramming a coworker with a pallet filled with parcels.

The victim told DeFuniak Springs Police Department officer that she saw her coworker approaching at “a high rate of speed,” according to his arrest report

He struck her with the pallet, bruising her hip. She told the officer that she became pinned between the pallet and the mail hamper.

She yelled at the suspect to stop striking her, but he refused to pull the pallet back.

  1. it says her hip was bruisex. sounds like a glancing blow. coming at a high rate of speed sounds like forklift to me.

    • good question…where is the shrink wrap around it??? I would think that if a worker was traveling at a “high rate of speed” with no wrapping and hitting her …..those parcel would be all over the place

      • you can’t honestly say that you don’t see lots of pallets sans shrink wrap. and a forklift clipping somebody wouldn’t even register.
