Postal worker arrested on heroin possession charge

1/28/16 Davidson, NC A Davidson postal worker has been arrested and charged with heroin possession.

The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service collaborated with police to arrest Amber Mitchell, an employee of the postal inspection office (USPS records list employee as rural carrier associate hired in 2012).

Police said they are also investigating Mitchell for possible mail theft.
