(November 18, 2014) FLINT, MI — “Some days can be pretty hard” said Donald Singleton.

“Those of us that walk routes are creating body heat, the idea is to preserve that body heat. And so we layer up” says Don.

When asked if he loves his job:

“Love can be a strong word, but I do enjoy the job, it pays well, and it is an honor to serve them and to protect that.” says Don.

For 20 years Don has trudged through some of the worst weather to deliver.

There are days when you know it’s just not going to be very good weather and so your motivation has to be to serve your customers. Sometimes you just have to put your head down and go” he says.
