MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – A U.S. postal service truck caught fire while delivering mail in Mobile on Tuesday.
The fire happened in a neighborhood on Mayflower Street just off Airport Boulevard.
The mail carrier noticed smoke and got out safely. He also managed to get all of the mail out before the fire spread through the vehicle.
It’s unclear how the fire started.
so
Idiot. Should have let it burn. Bet they get a low for working in an unsafe manner.
The station I worked at the LLV’s have been on the road for thirty years. Twenty more to go! our nation has money for endless wars, sports stadiums, thirty million for a military parade in Washington, Dis Connected, and spend millions on corporate wealthfare, however, nothing for government service. Each carrier should carry hot dogs, or tube steak, and have lunch when your low mileage cream puff catches on fire. At least put the fire to good use.
How much longer can Postal Management get away with LEGALIZED ROBBERY????
Where did all that money go over the last 25 years???? UPS and FedEx buy new jets, tractor trailers, delivery trucks every 5 years!!! Maybe the Post Office needs someone who knows how to run a business instead of a NON-PROFIT?
Saved all the Mail!
They treat us like sh@@, and he still
thought about doing his job.
That is why American LOVES us.
If they only really know what it was like working here.
I woulda roasted marshmallows
Great job pulling off the magic trick. Your parents didn’t know that you would grow
up to be a stunt driver.
25 year old trucks….little to no maintenance…….wood stove on wheels! IOD Muffin Megan is cool with her air conditioner and dunkin donuts box…..that’s my postal circus!
