A long-time Postmaster in Mississippi has pleaded guilty to charges he tried to cover up a shortage of U. S. Postal Service funds using a transfer of stamp stock to the New Albany Post Office in 2014. Dennis Jennings, 61, entered the guilty plea to one count of failing to account for property of the U. S. Postal Service as an employee. The indictment says Jennings was trying to cover up a shortage of nearly $53,000 when he electronically entered a transfer of card stock to Mississippi. – See more

  1. I notice lately on this web site that it is po mismgt that is doing most, not all of the theft. I guess the PFP bonus system is not doing to good since they have lost over $90 Billion since 2009. the postal circus would make a good case study at Harvard Business School at how not to run a customer based business model. if you apply normal GAAP accounting principles to the postal circus……..it would be declared bankrupt. just another flim flam like Enron.-run by the corrupt govt.

  2. The ex-Postmaster could very well be hired by a public school district. You see how often school districts waste money. Look at Chicago Public Schools. The last leader was sentenced to seven years. Or, he could become a lobbyist in Washington, De Ceitful.

  3. I had a supervisor tell me once that I was stealing from the post office because I went in to over time. I guess I need to become a supervisor and steal large.
