Washington, DC – The Postal Regulatory Commission received two proposals for rate changes for market dominant products, filed by the Postal Service to take effect on January 26, 2014.

The Commission has established Dockets Number R2013-10 and Number R2013-11 to consider the proposals. In the coming weeks, the Commission will hold public hearings, receive comments from interested parties and decide to approve, reject, or modify the proposals.

Participant comments in Docket R2013-10, which will consider regular CPI-based increases, are due no later than October 16, 2013.

Participant comments in Docket R2013-11, which will consider additional “exigent” increases, are due November 6, 2013.  A complete schedule for this case is located at the end of Order 1847.
