USPS: Price changes for several shipping products and services take effect January 17th

Shipping prices

1/14/16 Price changes for several shipping products and services will take effect Jan. 17.

These changes, which the Postal Service announced last October, include the first price increase for commercial Priority Mail in more than three years.

Prices also will change for Priority Mail Express, while customers who use Click-N-Ship to print labels for some services will now pay retail prices rather than commercial base prices.

Other changes will include the elimination of some products, including Priority Mail Express Flat Rate Boxes.

Additionally, some products and services will be renamed.

Parcel Select Nonpresort will now be called Parcel Select Ground, while Standard Post will be renamed USPS Retail Ground.

More information is available on the Blue Retail and Customer Service Operations page, including a price change reference guide.

  1. instead of raising prices…..how about getting rid of the PFP (pay for performance) undeserved scam bonus program that the thug postal mismanagement runs like a mafia racket that would be shut down in a private company under RICO. losing $90 Billion since 2009 make this PFP racket a criminal enterprise.Postal OIG will not get involved in this phony numbers for money racket………if your not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem……or getting your cut under the table. what say you mister OIG. (should be mentioned the first Postal OIG had to resign because she was taking to many unjustified travel juants around the world and sending the bills to the PO…..criminal behavior. resigning instead of jail time…….not on my watch) what do expect when the new PMG was an IOD after only 6 months on the job. you scratch my back I will scratch yours. truth has a certain ring to it! if you do not think I am correct debate me, not delete me. its the American way.
