The United States Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward for a man who robbed a postal carrier delivering mail in a Bridgeport housing project.
The postal carrier was delivering mail at the PT Barnum Housing Project at 136 Saint Stephens Road in Bridgeport at 11 a.m. on Saturday when a man carrying a “sawed-off shot gun” robbed him, according to the United States Postal Service. The robber is described as a man likely in his late teenage years to early 20s who is 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6 with “medium build.”
