A San Francisco mail carrier making her rounds Wednesday near Golden Gate Park’s Panhandle was targeted by a brazen thief who grabbed parcels from her truck and threatened to kill her, police said.
The suspect, a 52-year-old man, fled on foot but was later arrested, police said. He was not identified.
The 41-year-old worker was in her truck on Lyon Street, near Hayes Street, about 3 p.m. when the suspect took the parcels, police said. She was not injured in the robbery.
