In July 2014 the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee held a hearing on four nominees to the U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors:

Stephen Crawford (D), of Maryland, to be a Governor of the United States Postal Service for the remainder of the term expiring December 8, 2015, vice Alan C. Kessler, resigned.
The remaining current members of the Board of Governors:

Bush on August 17, 2006, for a term that expired December 8, 2007, and was reappointed on June 6, 2008, for an additional term that expires December 8, 2014.
Funny how none of the people on this board are/ were former Postal employees. Wait……..just another case of “someone not knowing whats really going on”. How can a person be put in charge of something they have ZERO working experience? Let me have a term!
I watched the video last year of the four nominees when they made their wishes to be added to the USPS board of Governors, and felt that all of them were looking to help improve the functioning of the USPS. But I felt that both Mr. Bennett and Mrs. Kennedy were the most supportive and either well informed and had plans of action to help improve the Postal Services finances with out cutting service and plants/AOs, or if they didn’t know everything about the issue in question didn’t try to fake it or side step the question they stated that they wouldn’t want to give a answer without being able to see all the information involved in the situation.
Darrell Issa would be a better candidate. He could stop the mail service inside of a year!
