Finance and Planning VP Shaun Mossman

27-year postal veteran has strong field operations background
Shaun Mossman has been named VP, Finance and Planning, responsible for the USPS revenue and expense budget, forecasting and financial analysis, and program evaluation.

Mossman has been serving in an acting capacity since August, 2013, reporting to CFO Joe Corbett. While Acting VP, Mossman was instrumental in completing fiscal year 2014 financial plans.

Mossman has a strong background in field operations. “Shaun brings a full organizational perspective to his new position,” said PMG Pat Donahoe in announcing the appointment.

Prior to his appointment in Finance, Mossman served as operations support manager for Western Area and as manager of Nevada-Sierra and Big Sky (Montana) districts. He also is a former Richmond District Post Office operations manager; finance manager in Richmond and Colorado-Wyoming districts; and operations program support manager for Colorado-Wyoming District.

Mossman, a 27-year veteran of USPS, began his career as a letter carrier in Newport News, VA. He is a graduate of Strayer University, where he received a degree in business administration. He also is an Advanced Leadership Program graduate and a certified, Lean Six Sigma Executive Green Belt.
