While walking her route on Sept. 19 at 12:10 p.m. in the area of New and Rutgers avenues, a mailwoman was accosted by a woman who took from packages from her satchel and then walked away, Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said.
Police responded to reports that a mail carrier was being assaulted and were greeted by the mail carrier, who told them she confronted the robber and took back the packages, Wallace-Scalcione said. The mailwoman told police that the assailant, later identified as Kimberly Sanders, became violent and then fled.
Police officers quickly located Sanders and arrested her. Sanders was charged with robbery and 10 counts of bail-jumping. Police did not provide information on the bail-jumping charges, but court records show that Sanders has been arrested more than 40 times.
It sounds to me like Kimberly Sanders is more than qualified to become a Carrier Supervisor.
In fact, I think she is District Manager material and may have a shot at one of the 72 USPS VP jobs at HQ.
