July 24, 2015 DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. A Douglas County woman says she couldnt believe her eyes when she watched her home surveillance video that showed a postal worker throw a package onto the front steps of her house.
The homeowner, who asked not to be identified, told Channel 2s Tyisha Fernandes she was expected the package to arrive Wednesday afternoon.
I don’t think she saw the camera, the homeowner said.
Home surveillance video shows a postal worker put mail in the box, but when she realizes there’s also a package for this address, she walks across the lawn, gets about two steps away from the door and tosses the fragile package on the concrete steps.
Inside the box were two items with LED screens, according to the homeowner.

That’s the reality, it’s just that there are no cameras recording how parcels are thrown around inside every postal facility in the country.
Great job Clare the clerk…. I’ve had packages to not make the bin and went on the floor!!!!!!! This package on the news was probably at the bottom of the bin, good luck tossing the package softly on the porch will break it…..come tour any post office
You think that’s bad, you should’ve seen it when I was sorting that package earlier that morning. First, I made a long three pointer toss because that routes post bin is in the back row. Had to really get some air under it to make the shot, but it was a beauty!! Then a short time later, I had a follow up shot with an even bigger package. That went in too, and landed smack dab on top of this one. Was on my A-game that morning!!
