USPS notified APWU that an operational review has resulted in a reduction of the number of impacted full-time clerks in the Pacific Area . (Note: the list is subject to change )  Also the list for impacted employees in Tacoma, WA was omitted from the previous list of offices.

Cherrybell Post Office processing center to close in April

TUCSON, AZ – As new digital technology takes over, the U.S. Postal Service continues shrinking its operations. Since February of last year, the Cherrybell facility has been sending large flat mail items to Phoenix for processing. Now in phase two of consolidation, mail of all sizes, including packages, will make that journey.
