Three Oklahoma postal workers indicted for mail theft

 Three Oklahoma postal workers indicted for mail theftTULSA, Okla.—The results of the June 2015 Federal Grand Jury were announced today by Danny C. Williams Sr., United States Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma.

The following individuals have been charged (separately) with violations of United States law in indictments returned by the Grand Jury. The return of an indictment is a method of informing a defendant of alleged federal crimes which must be proven in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt to overcome a defendant’s presumption of innocence.

Bobby Lee Harjo. Theft of Mail. Harjo, 52, of Glenpool, a United States Postal Service employee, is charged with stealing mail on October 3, 2014 and December 11, 2014. According to USPS records, Harjo has been a Rural Carrier since 1999.

Kyshawn Deyawn Hicks. Theft of Mail. Hicks, 25, of Tulsa, a United States Postal Service employee, is charged with stealing mail from January to March 2015. Hicks has been a Mail Processing Clerk since 2013.

Levi J. Lively. Theft of Mail. Lively, 27, of Broken Arrow, a United States Postal Service employee, is charged with stealing mail on February 20, 2015.

If convicted, the statutory maximum penalty for each count is five years in prison and a fine of $250,000. The United States Postal Service-Office of Inspector General (USPS OIG) is the investigating agency.
