SCHENECTADY — Three people were arrested in connection with two unrelated attacks on a mail carrier and a postal truck over the past few days, according to city police and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

The letter carrier was assaulted at about 2 p.m. by three young people in the area of Carrie and Lang Streets in Schenectady, according to a release.
