Two Postmaster Reliefs from same post office charged with stealing over $140,000Two former postal workers in Anaktuvuk Pass have been separately indicted by a federal grand jury in Anchorage for multiple counts of misappropriating postal funds, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.

  1. All the news that isn’t.

I retired after 35 years and the comments this gentleman made are absolute true .I work with same type of individuals a bunch of invecils, snitches, and kiss ass..

And now 95% of them are in management and the same results getting caught enbeselment funds from post office

  2. is anyone really surprised? since 2009 these dolts have lost over 80 billion dollars. name one company in the private sector who would still be in business if they lost 80 billion in 6 years? hint….99% of po bureaucrats have no college education…surprise! govt props this place up, but with 19 Trillion in debt, how much longer can they afford to. my guess not to much longer. spin em off let them sink or swim. jimmy carter did it to airline employees in 1978………what make post office so special?

It never ends news like this make
Me feel so happy that I worked 35 years moving the mail with crazy hours and retired proud it.
But keep reading this ugly news that people in higher positions just keep stealing because of greed .

Hello hello just like this two clowns got caught. I hope the audit all of them across the nation and won’t be suprize there more out there stealing.

  4. Well, here we go again. Two PM reliefs stealing from the Service. I pointed out the other day that the ratio of management vs. craft as far as reported stories on theft and other law breaking was revealing. The Service has about 650,000 employees, and about a quarter of those are management personnel. Now consider the number of crimes reported here on Postal Reporter. There are at least as many managers as craft, and ratio wise, that means a helluva lot more people in management are crooks than craft workers are. But when we consider whom gets into management: snitches, relatives of other management in the same area, suck ups and others who get in by methods I don’t even want to discuss, it really isn’t surprising.
I’ve known very few in management who rose through the ranks in my office who weren’t total pieces of shit, personally and professionally. Now, I want to emphasize that the current ones are okay. I’m referring to those pretty far back who were absolutely terrible. We understand they have their orders from people who are the worst of the worst, but I wouldn’t manage for any amount of love or money.
