USPS Board of Governors to meet in open session on Feb. 9

1/29/2021 WASHINGTON, DC — The U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors will meet in open session on Feb. 9, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. ET. The Board is expected to discuss the following items:

  1. Call to Order and Remarks of the Chairman
  2. Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board
  3. Remarks of the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board (incoming)
  4. Remarks of the Postmaster General and CEO
  5. Approval of Minutes
  6. Committee Reports
  7. Quarterly Financial Report
  8. Quarterly Service Performance Report
  9. Approval of Tentative Agendas for May Meetings
  10. Adjournment

The public is welcome to listen to a live audio webcast of the meeting (no in-person attendance) at http://about.usps.com/who/leadership/board-governors/briefings/welcome.htm. Three hours after the conclusion of the open session meeting, a recorded audio file will be available for listening. In compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, the audio webcast will be open-captioned.

  1. Agreed. DeJoy can deny “interference” all he wants, but actions and timing for such spoke louder than words to the courts. It is obvious that states attempted and are still trying to currently hamper vote by mail and DeJoy did the bidding of tRump. The USPS board of governors were complicit with this treachery and should be removed. At best it was ignorance and dereliction of duty. At worse it was sedition. NO MAJOR POLITICAL DONORS SHOULD BE APPOINTED to avoid the appearance of impropriety and all the bribery, collusion, cronyism and incompetent appointees that existed during tRump’s failed administration.

  2. The problems with the USPS are directly related to the inept Postmaster General who was appointed by Trump. The Board of Governors of the USPS supported the sabotage of the USPS by remaining silent as he tore the department apart.
    How about Biden signing one of his numerous executive orders to take care of that?
