Street delivery uninterrupted as window services shutter temporarily
1/7/2021 BRIDGEPORT NY – Postal officials are reporting that the Bridgeport Post Office, which straddles the borders of Madison and Onondaga Counties, will reduce its operations due to the impacts of COVID-19 on the office’s staff.
Effective Thursday, January 7, 2021, the Bridgeport Post Office will suspend regular retail operations, commonly known as window service.
Post office box mail and delivery of mail for customers served by a letter carrier will continue without disruption.
Oversized packages or signature-required articles for all customers who use the ZIP Code 13030 will be available for pickup in the Bridgeport Post Office during regular business hours, officials add.
The Bridgeport Post office, located at 7901 Bridgeport Minoa Rd, Bridgeport, NY 13030, is open weekdays from 8:45 am to noon and from 1:30 pm to 4:45 pm. On Saturdays, the office will remain open, without retail services, from 9 am until noon until further notice.
There is no immediate timetable for return to full services.
