  1. I’m interested in transferring to the Harrisburg Pd&C center does anyone know if there are any openings and if transfers are being accepted. I’m a mailhandlers

  2. And just because facilities are getting certain functions within a plant saved to prevent total closure doesn’t mean that there haven’t been layoffs still. Many people seem to think all jobs were saved, at our plant 1/3 were still laid off and we only lost APBS processing, which is the smallest crew in the plant consisting of about 15-20 jobs, yet there were 68 layoffs.

  3. Maybe if ma and pa worked a full 8 and rex could reach the racks we could have been more productive

  4. USPS is not keeping the public updated on actual dates of plant closures.

For example take a look at Akron, Lancaster, Queens and Ashville. These plants were scheduled to close on 4/18. But USPS posted 4/24–6 days after the fact that their closure were changed. The same with Kalamazoo and Wausau in changing the closure dates from TBD to today.

BTW, I got an email from another union steward that pointed out mail handlers copy and paste job. I guess the new leadership does not care about integrity and/or creditability.

    • And this surprises you how?
By the way this reads it sounds like you just started working at the USPS.
