USPS Controller and VP Tim O’Reilly set to retire Jan. 31 after 38 years of service

Tim O’Reilly, the Postal Service’s Controller and VP, will retire Jan. 31 after more than 38 years of service.

As the Postal Service’s controller, O’Reilly manages Corporate Accounting and Audit groups and is responsible for carrying out USPS responsibilities under the Sarbanes Oxley Act.

Prior to his current assignment, O’Reilly was Finance manager for Capital Metro Area. He also served as financial services analyst and Accounting manager for Eastern Area and is a former budget manager for the Pittsburgh District.

O’Reilly also served as the Continuous Improvement executive manager at headquarters, leading the Lean Six Sigma training program for employees.

PMG Pat Donahoe said O’Reilly “unfailingly delivered his best to the Postal Service and our organization is indebted to him.”
