The U.S. Postal Service is hiring approximately 200 city carrier assistants to deliver mail for selected offices throughout the Front Range. The Colorado Front Range communities include Fort Collins, Greeley,Loveland, Longmont, Boulder,Golden,Denver-Aurora Metropolitan Area, Castle Rock, Colorado Springs and Pueblo
These non-career positions pay $15 an hour and are initially appointed for a 360-day status.
Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Saturday. The number of hours worked will vary.
These positions also have the possibility of future employment as a career employee.
There are limited benefits associated with the positions. City carrier associates can accumulate vacation days. They will also have the opportunity to participate in Federal Employee Health Benefit Plan after the first 360-day appointment.

All applicants must be at least age 18 at the time of hire and be a U.S. citizen or have permanent alien status. Carrier positions require a valid driver’s license and a minimum of two years documented driving experience.
