The U.S. Postal Service is looking to hire nearly 40 seasonal employees at the Evansville (Indiana) Processing and Distribution Facility to handle extra holiday mail during November and December.
- Salary $12 per hour for Casuals; $15.26 per hour for PSE Mail Processing Clerks
- Appointment is not to exceed 90 days
- Casuals load, unload and move bulk mail; empty mail from mail containers (bags, hampers, etc.) and load mail into mail containers
- Mail Processing Clerks load mail onto automated equipment, monitors flow of mail, place sorted mail into trays and containers
- Primarily afternoon and midnight shifts; may work weekends, Sundays and holidays
