October 10, 2019 The U.S. Postal Service is hiring Tractor Trailer Operators for positions in Seattle, Tacoma and Federal Way.
Applicants must be 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a high school diploma. Applicants must be able to pass a drug screening, criminal background check, and any other applicable Postal Service tests.
Applicants must also have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a safe driving record.
These are career positions with a salary range between $22.26 and $29.77 per hour.
Positions are available at the following locations – Seattle Processing & Distribution Center, 10700 27th Ave. S, Seattle WA 98168; Tacoma Processing & Distribution Center, 4001 S. Pine St., Tacoma WA 98413, and the Network Distribution Center, 34301 9th Ave. S., Federal way WA 98003.

A Tractor Trailer Operator regularly operates a heavy duty tractor trailer either over the road service, city shuttle service or trailer spotting operations.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Have a minimum of 6 months driving experience with a tractor trailer
- Must demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record
- Must pass a medical exam
