USPS: Impacts to Post Offices from the Nashville Bombing

12/28/2020 Due to the bombing in Nashville on December 25, 2020 customers may see impacts to Retail Operations at some Post Offices in the Tennessee district for ZIP Codes starting with:  307, 370-375, 377-381, and 383-385; and the Kentuckiana district for ZIP Codes starting with:  400-406, 408, 409, 411-414, 416-418, 420-427, 471, 476, and 477.  The impacted offices will only be able to conduct certain transactions across the Retail counter.

The following services will be unavailable:

  • No credit/debit transactions – accepting cash or check transactions only
  • No money orders can be purchased or cashed
  • Mail and packages can be accepted but delivery service commitments cannot be provided
  • No Post Office Box renewals or new rentals can be performed at Retail locations until further notice
