USPS in San Francisco Hosts Free Hiring Workshops

The San Francisco postal district has openings for several positions and is eager to fill them.

The hiring events will be held on Thursday November 7 and Friday November 8 at the San Francisco Processing and Distribution Center located at 1300 Evans Ave., San Francisco, CA 94188 from 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

Applicants will be guided through the online application process at on-site computer stations to submit for positions posted on www.usps.com/careers. Interviews will also be held on the spot to help expedite applications and process qualified candidates for their next stop towards becoming a proud member of the USPS team.

Applicants must be 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Some positions require an exam. Any position that has a driving requirement will also require a valid driver license and clean DMV two-year driving history. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.

Applicants should bring a photo ID, valid driver’s license, Social Security Card or birth certificate; and males a Selective Service registration number. Veterans should bring their DD214 for veterans’ preference.
