The Postal Service has made some big changes to its Keeping Posted website.
Keeping Posted is a site for retired USPS employees who want to stay informed of postal news, events and people. The site also provides links to retirement resources.
Among the new features are periodic video messages from PMG Pat Donahoe and other officials on subjects for retirees — including health care — retiree benefits and post-employment restrictions.
“You may no longer work here, but you’re still a part of the Postal Service,” says PMG Pat Donahoe in the site’s introductory video (available only with non-ACE computers). “Keeping Posted is my way of keeping in touch with you.”
The new Keeping Posted is easier to use, with a navigation bar at the top — and it’s easier to read on mobile devices.
The new Stay Connected section offers opportunities to connect with USPS and other retirees using social media links to Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
There’s also a Retiree Spotlight, which features postal retirees and how they’re spending their retirements.
Retirees interested in sharing their news in Retiree Spotlight can e-mail KeepingPosted@usps.gov.
