USPS: New website for employees provides responses to inaccuracies

USPS sets the record straight — online
New website provides responses to inaccuracies

A new website is available for employees who want to know where USPS stands on issues in the news.

The Postal Service has launched USPS sets the record straight — an internal website providing postal responses to the misperceptions, misunderstandings or mistakes that sometimes occur.

The website — which includes postings of stories that recently appeared in Link — is an employee resource, with postings from Public Relations, Internal Communications and from the field. There’s information on the Postal Service’s responses to hot-button issues such as the USPS partnership with Staples, load leveling, plant consolidations and service.

It’s all part of the Postal Service’s continuing effort to correct inaccurate information.

As one of the most trusted U.S. government agencies, USPS is working to maintain trust by continuing to set the record straight.

  1. “USPS sets the record straight” The heading says it all, do you think they would ever tell you what’s really going on? The PMG has put us on a path to privatization by the way he has mismanaged the Postal Service and his lack of honesty to the employees. What kind of business would encourage employees to retire then turn around and beg Congress to ruin the retirees healthcare benefits? He’s full of compliments on one hand while backhanding you with the other….He’s was definitely never in the military!!

  2. The Blue intranet is not available to most bargaining unit employees, including hardly any city carriers or rural carriers.

  3. Simple, as to why this site is for employees only.

The lies on the site are so blatant, so ridiculous, so unbelievable, that if it was a public site, the public would once and for all, see what we already know about postal mgmt.

That they are nothing but liars and thieves.

So, better to hide behind an employee only site.

  4. Let the public see it and let the employees be able to post our comments about the articles so all America can see the bunch of lies PO will spread.

  5. This is a great idea. But why is it an internal website for employees only? It would be helpful for a wider audience to see what management is telling its employees about articles that appear in the media.

  6. This is should be the most accurate and dependable source for USPS news, as long as you remember to initiate the “inversion filter” first. It turns everything into the equally yet opposite version of any story.

  7. If this is so good why are you limited to a usps computer to view it?

  8. This is a bunch of B.S. this the same — Mngt says at service talks. A bunch of lies. This website it worthless unless your a fan of kissing Mngt azz

  9. In other words, USPS mgmt. is now spreading it’s lies via a dedicated website too.
