NORMAN, Okla. — Authorities on Tuesday evacuated the postal training center in Norman due to bomb threat.
According to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, at about 9:30 a.m. the Postal Service’s National Center for Employee Development at 2701 East Imhoff Road, received a bomb threat.
Norman police confirmed they responded as mutual aid but said it was not their jurisdiction.
Officials searched the campus but did not find a threat. The center returned to normal operations at about 12:45 p.m.

The Imhoff tank, named for German engineer Karl Imhoff (1876–1965), is a chamber suitable for the reception and processing of sewage.
I hope I don’t have to go back there again. I’ve spent enough of my life in that place.
