USPS now accepts Samsung Pay for credit and debit cards transactions.
1/21/16 Post Offices and other retail units can now accept Samsung Pay for credit and debit cards transactions.
Samsung Pay allows customers to make payments through their mobile devices.
The application is currently compatible with Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge devices.
When using Samsung Pay for a PIN debit transaction, customers must enter their 4-digit number into the PIN pad.
When using Samsung Pay for a credit transaction, the system will prompt the clerk to enter the last four digits of the card number. The customer must provide the clerk with the last four digits of the mobile device’s token card number for entry into the system.
The phone must be hovered over the magnetic stripe reader for the transaction to be processed.
More information on how customers can make a payment with Samsung Pay can be found on the Samsung support site.
