The USPS calendar of 2014 promotions and incentives encourages mailers to adopt technologies that enhance how consumers interact with mail. This combination increases the value of transactional and direct mail.
Next month, registration begins for two upcoming promotions:
- The “Color Print in First-Class Mail Transactions” promotion provides an upfront postage discount to mailers who use color print for marketing and consumer messages in their bills and statements. The promotion is intended to encourage mailers to create a stronger connection with consumers. Registration for the promotion begins June 15. The promotion runs Aug. 1-Dec. 31, 2014.
- The “Emerging Technology Promotion” builds upon previous USPS promotions that encourage mailers to integrate direct mail with mobile technology. To participate in the promotion, mailers must engage the recipient in an interactive experience using the mailpiece and a mobile device. Registration for this promotion also begins June 15. The promotion runs Aug. 1-Sept. 30, 2014.
