USPS offers special tokens to postal employee veterans

To mark Veterans Day this year, the Postal Service will honor employees who served in the armed forces with a special badge and badge clip.

The badges for USPS employees who are military veterans feature a message from Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan.

Approximately 100,000 military veterans are employed by USPS.

The badges are designed to be worn with the employee’s identification card and contain a message from Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan. The retractable badge clip features the words “USPS Veteran” and “Proudly Serving America.”

Distribution of these items is underway, and military veteran employees will be recognized at local events.

Employees who have questions can contact their district’s veterans coordinator. A list is available on Blue.

  1. Little tokens for veterans? I remember when our prickmaster placed a army veteran up for removal because of failure to maintain schedule twice. His crime? Going to the V. A. hospital over illness caused by agent orange. Finally the V. A. ruled that veterans could receive treatment at V. A. places over diseases caused by agent orange and government agencies couldn’t say a thing !

  2. Usps mgt should let the veterans to wear a headgear of their armed forces service to let the customer know that we still serving our nation

  3. About time they come up with something for our Veterans. I retired over 5 years ago and would have loved to wear that new badge. So for all those who have them or will receive them please wear them with pride and thank your PMG for she is the one who authorized it.
