VPO comes to Wise Professional Services
The Rialto community has a new Village Post Office (VPO) at Wise Professional Services. The public is invited to join us at the VPO Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony.
The VPO provides a range of popular Postal Service products and services, including First-Class Mail Forever stamps, prepaid Priority Mail Flat Rate products, free Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes, and package drop-off. Most VPOs are located in established businesses where customers already frequent and provide customers with convenient access to the USPS products and services they use most.

Residents in La Verne and surrounding areas are invited to attend a grand opening celebration for Villa’s Market Village Post Office at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 25. Villa’s Market is located at 1912 Arrow Highway in La Verne.
As a U.S. Postal Service (USPS) Village Post Office (VPO), Villa’s Market will add the two most frequently purchased postal products and services ― Forever stamps and Priority Mail Flat Rate products ― to its variety of offerings.
VPOs are a part of the network of outlets owned and operated by third parties to complement the Postal Service’s own network of retail Post Offices. This third-party network, which includes Contract Postal Units, Approved Shippers and Stamps on Consignment locations, enables USPS to efficiently expand the availability of its services at convenient locations that customers already frequent.
La Verne Postmaster Gloria Collins and USPS Santa Ana District Manager Larry Munoz will join Villa’s Market owner Tar Randhwa in commemorating the occasion and partnership at the April 25 grand opening celebration, which will feature complimentary refreshments and a ribbon cutting.
“This is good news for our customers,” said Collins. “Villa’s market is about two miles from the La Verne Post Office and close to the University of La Verne. It will be a convenient location in that area of town to buy stamps and drop off mail and packages.”
“This opening is a positive development for everyone concerned,” said Munoz. “Villa’s Market is offering their customers a one-stop shopping experience where they can buy stamps or ship prepaid Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes at the same place they already purchase groceries and other items. By expanding access to postal products and services, Villa’s Market should see increased customer visits and loyalty.”
There are over 550 Village Post Offices located in a wide variety of businesses across the country. Villa’s Market is the first in the San Gabriel Valley area.
