USPS reports impact on operations due to California wildfires

The Pacific Area and the Bay Valley District report the following impacts to operations due to wildfires in the area

The following offices are closed and customer are being served through the Alternate Location identified below.  The locations are:

The following offices are closed for retail operations due to a loss of power due to the wildfires:

Pope Valley Post Office Box customer mail can picked up at Pope Valley office.  Customers with street delivery are directed to go to St. Helena PO – 94574 – 1461 Main St., St. Helena CA  94574-9998

San Francisco

The Casa Grande Post Office at 1601 Corporate Circle, Petaluma, CA 94954, will now serve as the hub for all Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Kenwood and Eldridge mail effective today.

Yesterday the Postal Service put contingencies in place for customers from El Verano, Vineburg and Boyes Hot Springs to get their mail at the Casa Grande Post Office.

Mail for customers from Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Kenwood,, Eldridge, El Verano, Vineburg and Boyes Hot Springs will be available for pick up at the Dutch door in the retail lobby area of the Casa Grande Post Office from noon to 6:00 PM. Photo ID is required. Signs are posted to guide customers to the mail pickup area.

Updates will be provided as soon as conditions change.
