The Postal Service and the National Association of Rural Letter Carriers (NRLCA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) regarding rural routes that remain domiciled in Remotely Managed Post Offices (RMPOs), once POStPlan has been implemented in those offices. Contractural provisions related to rural carrier senority, the Relief Day Work List, automated job bidding and the assignment of leave replacements in RMPOs and APOs (with Rural Routes) are included in the MOU.
