A post office is not a designated safe haven site where babies can be dropped off, no questions asked.
According to CPS Spokesperon Estella Olguin, the baby was found in a car seat in the front lobby of the Westbrae Station, near S. Gessner and W. Bellfort.
We’re told the baby is about one month old. He was wearing a white onesie and had a blanket wrapped around him. CPS said the baby was wearing a diaper with “Jesse” written on it.
He was found in a blue car seat (Classic Connect Snugride brand) with a black and red blanket with white dog bones and lettering “woof.”
Postal workers tell Local 2 there was a container of milk left with the baby.
Olguin says he appeared healthy and well taken care of.
Baby found abandoned in SW Houston post office lobby
the good news is this poor child will be cared for and eventually find a good home, the sad news is living a life of WTF did I do to deserve being dumped off.
