BETHLEHEM, Md.- A meeting was held Monday inside the Bethlehem Post Office to discuss its future.

Brian Landry, the Eastern Shore Operations Officer for the Postal Service was in charge of the meeting with people from the community.

Last month 41 surveys were sent out to the community to ask what they would like to do to save their Post Office, which has been losing money. Eleven surveys came back and 10 of them opted to shorten office hours from eight to four hours a day.

Those hours will be determined in the next 30 days, and Landry said if all goes according to plan, it will be implemented in 60 days.
