HOUSTON -Surveillance video from a home on Maxie Street near Roy Street shows a U.S. postal worker dropping off a package at the front gate of a home near Memorial Park.

About 10 minutes later, the video shows a man drop his bike in the street and walk up to the gate, near the front door, pick up the package then leave with it. The owners posted the video online to warn other neighbors.

“The package was stolen within those two hours,” said Elaine Hwang,who lives in the same neighborhood. Her package, worth about $100, was stolen about the same time Tuesday while no one was at home. Hwang said, “It’s pretty frustrating and it’s going to be even more frustrating whenever the holidays come around and there are a lot more packages. I can’t be home all of the time to pick them up.”
