2/23/16 WICHITA, Kan. — Some Wichita homeowners say they’re being treated unfairly by the postal service — because of their dogs.
They called KAKE News’ Jemelle Holopirek to help solve their problem.
For the past 40 years, Leon Normore and Jimmy Fields received their mail individually, directly to their homes.
But just last week all of that changed.
Some folks in the northeast Wichita neighborhood where Normore and Fields live received a letter from the postal service. The letter stated because of dog issues, their mail would be kept downtown until the postal service could install a cluster mailbox on the street corner. Read more
