ADDISON (CBS) — A mail truck was hit by a freight train Thursday morning in west suburban Addison.

A Canadian National train hit the semi, which was carrying mail, at the Grace Avenue crossing at 4:48 a.m., according to Addison police.

Grace was closed between North and Belden as crews cleaned up the debris.

Minor injuries were reported, and no one was transported to the hospital.
