A United States postal worker was stuck inside a mail truck in the middle of an intersection, with flood waters covering the tires of the vehicle and nearly reaching the hood.
While numerous drivers passed her by, a fellow postal worker came to her aid.
The man first carried the woman’s personal items to a black SUV, then went back to help her climb out.
After guiding the woman to safety, the man went back to the truck and closed its doors. Containers of mail were still inside the vehicle.
A flatbed truck for the post office arrived to the scene and towed the vehicle away.
Couple rescued from bathroom, postal worker stranded in Cullen Park flood
She had to be “rescued” from 2 feet of standing water? Lol!
Write her up!!
Sep 19 stand up talk – flash floods, turn around, don’t drown.
Someone must have missed the talk.
Sad thing is. You’ll probably will get a PDI or even for severe ” Removal “”… It could’ve been preventive or avoidable… Just saying… Here in Harrisburg P&DC. A mail handler was pulling an APC out of a robot because it was jammed. The top part came slamming down on her wrist (fracturing it ).. The MDO said why wasn’t the orange safety latch down. Duh idiot, it was in the robot and the arm of the robot does it.. Anyways, long story short. She got a PDI for a unsafe work act and had to drive herself to the ER. I Hate Management!!!!!
