SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Thousands of pieces of missing mail delivered years later.
The 22News I-Team first reported this story in April. Now they’ve dug deeper and discovered new information. The U.S. Postal service has been delivering mail to people in western Massachusetts that was originally sent back in 2007. As the Assistant U.S. Attorney built their case over 3-and-a-half years, the defendant died in late 2014.
The evidence was then released and the postal service has been delivering the eight year old mail since January
