VICKSBURG, Miss. – Vicksburg residents claim they’ve had enough with the poor postal service in their town.

“I’ve been finding my mail anywhere from two to five miles away,” says Christina Carter, who lives on Tanglewood Drive. She, along with other residents in that area, claim their mail is going to the wrong people. It’s causing major concerns for those who receive income checks and credit cards via mail.

“When you got somebody else’s credit card coming into your mailbox that’s serious,” says Christina. She has lived at her address since 2009. She says she’s received others’ W-2 forms in her mailbox, while her income checks are going to someone else.

“Being on workers comp and working and my check in somebody else’s mailbox, yea that effects me because that’s how i pay my bills, I want my mail on time and I want my mail,” says Christina. She also claims the carriers aren’t picking up her outgoing mail. “I can put that back in the mailbox and write on there return to sender, this is not where they stay, leave it in the mailbox, who does that, that’s what they do, Vicksburg Postal Service,” says Christin
