Crash involving U.S. Postal Service truck in Charlotte County, Florida
January 30, 2015 – CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL -A small ding to the right, rear bumper of 77-year-old David Andersons minivan catapulted into a much bigger issue.
Anderson was backing out of his driveway when he tapped a U.S. Postal Service truck delivering mail behind him. Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Joseph Bowers described it as “a minor crash involving a blue minivan and a postal vehicle.”
But once the drivers got out to look at the damage, Anderson collapsed.
