Police in Westover are looking for a man who apparently mugged a clerk at a Post Office in the city.

Detectives said it happened around 2 p.m. on Monday.

Police Chief, Rick Panico, said a man went into the Post Office on Ohio Avenue and demanded money. He said the clerk reportedly refused to hand over cash and that’s when the suspect jumped the counter and grabbed the clerk by the throat.

Panico told 5 News the man was able to escape with a blank money order.
