POMPANO BEACH, Fla. -A man wearing a mask robbed a United States Postal Service carrier in Pompano Beach on Monday afternoon.

The robbery happened in the 900 block of Northeast 12th Avenue about 3:10 p.m.

The armed robber stole the carrier’s key to the truck, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. The two got into an altercation, and the robber then ran away.
