Nearly two hundred people showed up for a US Postal Service Job Fair at the downtown post office.

The Tulsa Post Office is accepting applications for City Carrier Assistants (CCAs). Scheduled workdays for these positions will normally be Monday through Sunday, with an average 36-hour work week. “CCA salary is $15.30 an hour. This position is non-career, with limited benefits which include paid vacation days, contractual pay raises, and access to the USPS non-career Employee Health Benefits Plan.”

Officials say there were a lot more applicants than expected; there are only 35 jobs currently available.

USPS held 2 postal job fairs in July (Oklahoma City and Tulsa) with another job fair scheduled for Novemeber.

Applicants must be fit and able to lift mail and boxes the pay starts at $15.
